This year’s Christmas Party theme was “Sharing Love, Changing Lives.” The program started with the doxology lead by the PNSB Glee Club followed by a nationalistic song sang by one of the visually impaired faculty members of PNSB. Lots of performances during the Christmas Party were presented by the PNSBians such as song and dance numbers.
A competition called “TUNOG TAO” was also held during the party. One of the mechanics of this competition was the sound to be produced should come from their body parts, as the title suggests. 3 groups competed for the championship title; Group 3 won the competition.
Each performance consisted of a song and a dance number accompanied by their colorful costumes and props. This competition really showcased PNSBians talents, not only when it comes to singing and dancing but also their imagination and presentation. A raffle draw for the whole PNSB campus was also held including the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
Teamwork and cooperation were shown by the PNSBians during the games held at the party some of it were Hotdog-Eating Contest for the Kinder students, Simon Says for the whole PNSB campus wherein the hosts would ask the students to group themselves into numbers of people, and Ihaw-Ihaw game where the students would use a fan to blow the fish printed on a paper to reach the other side of the ground
For this year’s gift-giving, JMF had prepared P.E. shoes for the students and groceries for their families. MGE also gifted MacKay Bana Charcoal for the students and their families.
Different values and characteristics were seen during this event and James MacKay Foundation is just so proud and glad to be a part of this journey with Philippine National School for the Blind.
