EDUCATION
James MacKay Foundation, Inc. supports the only residential national school for learners with visual impairment – the Philippine National School for the Blind (PNSB). As JMF supports the talented students of PNSB, it will transform the lives of the visually impaired making them productive citizens of the country.
A good example of this is the deserving scholars of James MacKay Foundation, Inc., who are now both teaching in PNSB: Ms. Grace Garrol and Mr. Ronald Manguiat. Ms. Garrol graduated from St. Paul University Manila with a degree in Music Education while Mr. Ronald Manguiat is a graduate of Philippine Normal University with a degree in English Education.
HEALTHCARE
The foundation has acquired a multivitamins company which benefits the Filipino children – Manna Plus. Manna Plus is 100% Filipino-made; very much affordable yet beneficial for the growth and development of Filipino children.
Medical missions are also being conducted in some provinces throughout the country to reach out to people who are sick or who are in need as well as to promote hygienic practices.
LIVELIHOOD
As a shareholder of MacKay Green Energy, Inc., a renewable energy company, the foundation supports our fellow Filipinos by providing sustainable employment in different levels from semi-skilled to skilled jobs.
PWDs are very much welcome to work with us as one of MGE’s mission is promoting the employability of the PWDs.
SPORTS
Sports tournaments are being organized by the foundation encouraging the children on reaching their dreams.
It has invited some of the known athletes in the Philippines to facilitate several workshops throughout the country which creates opportunities for the children in the different provinces who want to enhance their skills.
