Music Workshop

Summer is here and you know what that means? Vacation! For kids, it’s one of their most awaited season (next to Christmas, of course!) because they have a lot of free time. Sadly, most of the kids nowadays would rather spend their vacation at home with their eyes attached to their computers or mobile phone busy playing games online, watching youtube videos, and scrolling to their social media accounts.

However, we at the James MacKay Foundation Inc. aims to spread the fun not only to our beneficiaries but also to everyone. We definitely think that kids should do fun worthwhile activities that will stimulate their growing mind and learn that giving back at an early stage is possible.

In light with that, the JMF team concocted a workshop dedicated to teaching kids about music. In JMF we believe that we should give back to society and at the same time share our passion with everyone. That’s why all the proceeds of this Music Workshop will go directly to our cause of sending help and support to the disabled and needy.

The workshop will teach not only the piano, guitar, and voice lessons. It will also discuss the basic knowledge of Music Theory. We all know that music is everywhere and it is with all of us. By teaching these youngsters the basic knowledge of Music theory, they will be able to put their musical ideas and practices in written form. So, think of music theory as a way to understand the language of music.
